Journey of Baldness, Stage Two:
Denial
Hold on, you’re probably thinking, you just described
thinning hair as an ‘undeniable fact.’ Yes, and
now we’re saying that Stage Two is "Denial."
Remember, the bald guy is a complex being. Denial is an instance
of the mind caring for itself. Many of us are not ready to admit
we’re balding, so in order for us to go about our daily
lives, we create and accept the illusion that we have a nice,
full head of hair.
Sadly, some of our brothers never make it beyond this stage,
trapped forever in the comb-over and other such abominations.
